Volunteer for Discover Olmsted's Connecticut Bicycle Tour 2022
Description
Come join us as we pedal our way through some of Connecticut’s beautiful historic sites and parks! To encourage more people to ride their bikes and to share the best of our state’s business, history, and culture, we are continuing the BWCT series of Discover CT rides in 2022 with a focus on the 200th anniversary of Fredrick Law Olmsted’s birth in Hartford. Olmsted, the pioneering landscape architect who laid out New York's Central Park, was a Hartford native who planned many projects in Connecticut. A collaboration between Bike New Britain and BWCT, the Discover Olmsted's CT tour will showcase sites in central CT that Fredrick Law Olmsted designed or where he had life milestones.
Use this site to indicate your interest in volunteering for the event! On the next page you can select volunteer opportunities that are of interest to you so that BWCT and BNB can try to match you to that opportunity.
The event will start and end at the New Britain Museum of American Art at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain and volunteer times will vary.
